- 1. Start with foam mats Nine interlocking 30cm tiles. Arrange the surface to suit your project.
- 2. Choose T-pins 50 individual pins for corners, points and detailed placement.

- 3. Add a gentle wash Soak 375mL for washable projects; follow your yarn’s care label.
Shawls, lace & socks
Choose a tool for the shape you are finishing, from long lace edges to a matching pair.
- For shawls: lace blocking wires 15 wires, 20 T-pins, a tape measure and storage tube. Pins and measuring tape are already included.
- Add a pinning surface Mats are separate from the wire set. Check the space your finished shawl needs.
- For socks: choose your blocker size A pair in Small, Medium or Large. Compare the listed size with your finished sock.
- Wash & care for the finished piece Choose your preferred scent on the product page.

Do I need T-pins, knit blockers or wires?
Choose T-pins for individual points and corners, knit blockers for placing several pins along an edge, or wires for supporting longer lace edges and curves. Mats provide the pinning surface. The wire set includes 20 T-pins, so a separate pack is optional if you need more.
Can I use these tools for crochet?
Yes—foam mats and suitable pins or blockers can help shape crochet motifs, squares, lace and garment pieces. Choose the method recommended for your fibre and pattern. Check the finished dimensions before joining pieces.
How much blocking space do I need?
Plan around the finished measurements, including room to pin the edges. One KnitPro mat pack has nine tiles, each approximately 30 × 30cm; a 3 × 3 arrangement is roughly 90 × 90cm. Large shawls and blankets may need more than one pack. Mats do not include pins or blockers.
Which sock blocker size should I choose?
KnitPro lists Small for EU 35–37.5, Medium for EU 38–40 and Large for EU 41+. Check the product’s size options and your finished sock measurements. A blocker supports the shape; do not force a sock onto an oversized form.
