How to choose an adjustable mannequin
Measure the person who will wear the garment, not a favourite garment laid flat. Take a level measurement around the fullest part of the bust, the natural waist and the fullest part of the hips. Check the form’s height range against the wearer and the pattern’s finished length.
- Choose the size range that contains the wearer’s key bust, waist and hip measurements.
- Use the adjustment dials to match the form to the pattern’s body measurements.
- Keep ease and wearing comfort in the pattern; the form is a fitting aid, not a substitute for the finished garment.
