Choose your Dotec needle system
- Everyday industrial sewing: DBx1 / 16x231 and DPx5 / 135x5 needles for compatible industrial machines.
- Overlocking and coverseaming: B27 / DCx27 overlocker needles and UY128 GAS coverseam needles.
- Walking foot and specialist sewing: DPx17, 134-35 for compatible Adler and Pfaff machines, LWx6T / 29BL blind hemmer needles, and SGx7713 / DK2500 carpet overlocker needles.
- Domestic machines and bag closing: HAx1 domestic needles, plus BCx5 / D5 and 92x1 / DNx1 bag closing systems.
How to choose
A needle system describes the needle's dimensions and design; the size describes its thickness. Matching the size alone is not enough. Check the needle system specified in your machine manual or on the existing needle packet, then open the product to see its available sizes and pack details. Industrial, domestic and bag closing needles are not interchangeable simply because they share a size number.
