Madeira 9462 needles are for overlock and coverstitch machines that specify a compatible ELx705 needle. Their medium ball point, deep scarf and double-groove design suit this specialised stitching setup. The six-pack contains sizes 80/12 and 90/14, giving you a choice for suitable fabrics without changing the required needle system.

Coverstitched hems
Suitable only where the coverstitch machine specifies this system. Test on the actual folded hem rather than a single flat layer.
Knit construction
The medium ball point is useful for appropriate knitted materials. Inspect a sample for skipped stitches and damage before sewing the garment.

Not every overlocker uses ELx705. These are not automatically interchangeable with ordinary 130/705 H household sewing needles.
