Janome Denim needles are designed for firm, heavyweight woven fabrics such as denim and canvas. Their robust shaft and sharp point suit demanding fabric penetration, while this single-size pack keeps five size 100/16 replacements together. Use them only within your machine's fabric and needle-size limits, especially where several seams overlap.

Before you start
- Check that your machine accepts the needle system and size 100/16; choose thread that passes freely through the eye.
- Fit a fresh needle safely, fully seated and oriented as your machine manual directs.
- Sew a layered test sample slowly, then check the stitches and needle holes before working on the project.
A denim needle does not increase a machine's lifting clearance or sewing capacity. Do not force the needle through an unsupported thick seam.
Good to know
Are these suitable for leather?
Choose a leather needle when a cutting point is required; denim needles are not the same type.
What about stretch denim?
Test first. A stretch-specific needle may be more suitable if the elastic fabric skips stitches or shows damage.
