This guide covers 139 model/version entries and 336 part and accessory records. A missing result means we need to check it, not that a part is unavailable. Listings may include accessories already supplied with your machine.
Three checks that make a difference
Janome makes several different types of machines. A familiar brand name or similar-looking foot does not establish compatibility. Start with the full model, then check the accessory itself.
A presser-foot listing may specify 5mm, 7mm or 9mm, and a high- or low-shank attachment. Some feet cover more than one width. Others are restricted to front- or top-loading machines.
Use the exact part's model list. The width in an accessory reference is not always the machine's maximum stitch width.
Original AcuFeed, AcuFeed Flex, a separate walking foot and the HD9 straight-stitch system use different accessories. Embroidery-only, overlocker and CoverPro machines have their own requirements too.
Check the system name as well as the foot's job.
A foot, foot holder and holder-with-foot assembly can have separate part numbers. An extension table may be listed without legs. A hoop template is not the embroidery hoop itself.

Useful upgrades & everyday replacements
A walking foot for feeding layers, a quarter-inch foot for patchwork or the right bobbin cover can make a familiar machine easier to use. These are examples from Direct Sewing's range; choose your model above before selecting a fitting.

Small differences worth spotting
The September guide lists 770591001 for the 24mm HD9 version 1 bobbin and 767860107 for the 23mm version 2 / HD9QCP bobbin. “HD9 bobbin” alone leaves out an essential detail.
The ML654D, ML554D and ML454D use the newer 202525008 cloth guide and 202523006 elastic-gathering attachment. The guide specifically excludes them from the older 200216100 and 200218102 versions.
The MC6600P and MC7700QCP use the original AcuFeed references. AcuFeed Flex has separate twin and single holders and feet. The HP2 foot also needs the correct HP needle plate and an eligible machine.
For example, the guide directs C-2097 foot-control enquiries to C-2098. That is a useful starting point for a parts enquiry; the machine, plug and original controller label still need checking.

Janome accessories, explained simply
Start with the full machine model and version, then check the exact accessory part number and its compatibility notes. For presser feet, the shank, fitting width and feed system can matter. For other parts, compare the model-specific reference and the existing component. Contact Direct Sewing when a match is unclear.
No. Janome uses multiple attachment and feed systems. Some ordinary feet span a range of machines, while walking feet, AcuFeed attachments, specialist straight-stitch feet and embroidery feet have more specific requirements. A foot doing the same job is not necessarily the same fitting.
No. Maximum stitch width and accessory compatibility are different checks. Some top-loading models with a 5mm maximum stitch width are specifically listed for certain 7mm accessories. A 5mm front-loading foot can still be the wrong part. Follow the exact-model and exact-part listing.
No. The bobbin holds the lower thread. The bobbin holder or case locates the bobbin in the machine. The bobbin cover is the cover over the opening. A needle plate is another separate component. Send a photo if you are unsure which one is missing or damaged.
You may need a replacement, but check your accessory box and manual first. Janome's comparison tables distinguish standard accessories, optional accessories and some bonus packs. An accessory appearing in a parts list does not mean it is an additional item you need to buy.
In this guide, NLA means no longer available to supply from Janome under that listing. It does not tell you whether a retailer still has stock. There may be a replacement number, or the part may need a separate enquiry. Direct Sewing can check the current position.
