Stretch or jersey needles?
Stretch needles are designed for elastic fabrics and highly stretchy knitwear. Jersey or ballpoint needles suit many knitted fabrics. Both can have ballpoints, but their eye and scarf geometry differs. Choose for the fabric and test on a spare piece before sewing your project.
Check the needle system first
Read the required system in your machine manual and on the needle pack. 130/705 H-S Stretch and HAx1 SP Super Stretch have different specifications; the word stretch alone does not establish fit. Match the needle size to your fabric and thread, within the sizes your machine supports.
