Before you start
- Check your machine's needle format and choose a size for the fabric and thread.
- Safely install a fresh needle, fully seated in the orientation specified by the machine manual.
- Test a seam on scraps, checking for puckering, thread shredding or unnecessarily large holes before starting.
For knitted fabrics, choose a suitable ball-point needle; leather and demanding denim work may also benefit from their dedicated needle types.

Does the assorted pack include NM 70?
No. The pictured assortment contains two NM 80, two NM 90 and one NM 100.
