Schmetz Gold Embroidery needles add a hard titanium-nitride surface treatment to an embroidery needle's wide eye and thread groove. Designed for demanding embroidery, they are useful for designs with many stitches and suitable firm fabrics. The medium ball point and generous thread passage help you handle decorative threads while keeping the needle choice appropriate to the project.

Before you start
- Check machine compatibility and select 75/11 or 90/14 for your fabric and thread.
- Switch off, install the needle fully and prepare the embroidery with suitable backing.
- Run a short test before the finished design, checking thread handling and stitch balance.
The gold finish improves wear resistance; it does not make a bent or damaged needle usable. Replace the needle when its condition affects stitching.

Are these solid titanium needles?
No. The feature is a titanium-nitride surface treatment on the needle, not a solid-titanium construction.
