The Janome MyLock ML544D is a 3/4-thread overlocker for finishing fabric edges and sewing garment seams. Pair it with your sewing machine to take dressmaking projects from cut fabric to a tidy result.

A useful partner for your sewing machine
Colour-coded guides and a threading chart help you follow each thread path. Stitch length, cutting width and foot pressure are adjustable, so you can refine the finish for different projects.
Included: standard presser foot, HAx1SP needles, four spool holders, two screwdrivers, tweezers, foot control and instruction book. The bonus pack contains a blind stitch foot, gathering attachment, elastic gathering attachment and cording foot.

Frequently asked questions
Does it make a cover hem?
No. The ML544D is an overlocker; a coverstitch machine is needed for cover hems.
Does it replace my sewing machine?
Keep your sewing machine for tasks such as buttonholes, zips and topstitching. An overlocker adds efficient edge finishing and overlocked seams.
Is there help with threading?
Janome provides an online instructional video through its MyLock 544D product page, linked below. An instructional DVD is not included in the current Janome specification.
