The Eagle Special twin-needle walking foot sewing machine forms two parallel rows of stitching in suitable upholstery, canvas, leather goods and other heavy-material assemblies.

The right spacing for the seam.
Needle gauge is the distance between the two stitch rows. Select the gauge that suits your topstitching layout, seam allowance and finished appearance.

A wider separation between the rows, where the seam design calls for a broader twin-needle finish.

Needle spacing is not stitch length. The selected gauge sets the distance across the two rows; stitch length sets the distance between successive stitches along each row. Choose your required gauge when ordering.

It is a practical format for visible upholstery seams, bag panels, canvas assemblies and decorative topstitching where a consistent distance between rows matters.
Stitch appearance depends on your thread, needle, tension and material. The photograph illustrates the twin-row finish; it is not a scale reference for either gauge.
Heavy-material handling
Control the layers as you sew.
The walking-foot mechanism helps feed suitable layered and heavier materials through the twin-needle sewing area. The flat bed supports broad panels as you guide them past the needles.
Adjustable servo speed lets you slow down for detail work, bulky joins and changes in direction.
Two rows need room to turn
Plan the seam path for both needles, especially near tight corners and narrow edges. Test the complete seam stack and your chosen gauge on a sample before production.
Presser-foot clearance is not a guarantee of the thickness that can be sewn successfully.

Vertical-axis, double-capacity hooks carry more bobbin thread than standard-capacity hooks, helping reduce interruptions for bobbin changes.
The energy-saving servo motor does not run continuously while you pause to position the work.

Choose 6.4mm for the closer-spaced pair or 9.5mm for the wider pair. Match the gauge to your seam layout and the space available on the material.
Does it sew both rows at once?
Yes. The two needles form parallel rows in the same pass, with the spacing determined by the selected gauge.
Which needles and thread should I use?
