7102-M contains three 5cm cables. All other options in this listing are single cables. Lengths refer to the cable alone; needle tips, connectors and adapters are sold separately.
What the 5cm cables do
Make flexible DPNs
The three-pack can be paired with suitable MINI tips to create a flexible double-pointed setup. Needle tips are not included.
Keep your system consistent
Match the MINI [M] join on every component. A 5cm cable is not a conventional circular by itself.
Compatibility that matters
These cables connect directly to ChiaoGoo MINI [M] tips. In the standard 10cm and 13cm TWIST ranges, MINI covers 1.50–2.50mm. Shorties MINI tips use a different diameter range, extending to 3.25mm. Always read the join code on the actual tips.
Small [S] and Large [L] tips require the appropriate directional adapter to connect to MINI cables. Do not force unlike threads together.
The 13cm cable is for 5cm tips only, or as an extension. The 15cm cable suits 5cm or 8cm tips, or extension use. Avoid making a short circular with tips too long for its cable.
Set up and use
- Check the MINI connection on your tips and any connectors.
- Choose a cable length suitable for your tip length and technique.
- Thread the parts together and secure gently with a MINI tightening key in the cable-end hole.
- Check the joins during use and store without sharp bends at the metal ends.
For holding stitches on a cable, use MINI end stoppers. For joining cables, use MINI cable connectors.
Questions before you choose
Is this the same as a Small [S] cable?
No. MINI [M], Small [S] and Large [L] are different connection sizes.
Does 35cm mean a 35cm finished circular?
No. Add the length of both tips. A 35cm cable with two 13cm tips is sold as an approximately 60cm circular setup.
How many cables do I receive?
The 5cm 7102-M option contains three cables. Each longer option contains one cable.
Are tips included?
