Match the stopper to your cable

Select by the connection on the cable. MINI, Small and Large threads differ and do not fit one another directly. Some Shorties tips use MINI connections even at diameters that use Small joins in full-length tips.
How to use
- Move the stitches safely onto the cable.
- Remove one needle tip and screw a matching stopper onto that end.
- Repeat at the other end and check both stoppers are secure.
- When ready to knit, replace each stopper with the correct tip and tighten the joins.
What is included
Two end stoppers in your selected connection size. This is a matching pair, not an assortment of MINI, Small and Large. Cable, needle tips and tightening tools are sold separately.
Store your project with care
Check the stoppers before moving or trying on the work. Use a cable long enough for the stitches to sit comfortably and avoid pulling on the joins. Return the stoppers to your pouch when the tips are fitted again.
Good to know
Do they join two cables?
No. End stoppers close cable ends. A separate cable connector is used to join two cables.
Will Small stoppers fit all 2.75–5mm needles?
Choose the stopper for the cable join, not the needle diameter. Shorties connection sizes can differ from standard tips.
