Choose the correct connector

Both cables must have the same join size as the connector. Needle diameter alone is not a reliable guide for every Shorties setup; check the cable connection.
How to extend a cable
- Remove the needle tip from the cable end you want to extend.
- Screw the connector between two cables with matching joins.
- Secure the connections using the appropriate tightening key, then refit your needle tip.
- Check that your yarn and stitches pass smoothly before continuing.
What is included
One pack of two connectors in your selected join size. This is not a mixed-size pack. Needle tips, cables and tightening keys are sold separately.
Plan your finished needle length
The complete circular length includes both needle tips, the cables and the connector. A joined cable is useful for holding many stitches; avoid pulling hard at the additional join and store the cable in loose curves.
Good to know
Is this a tip-to-cable adapter?
No. It joins two cables of the same connection size. Choose a directional adapter to connect a larger-join tip to a smaller-join cable.
Does it make a cable swivel?
No. The connector extends cable length and does not add a rotating joint.
