The detail that makes the difference
Catch the fold, not the eye.
A blind hem stitch catches a small amount of the outer fabric to secure the folded hem. Correct stitch depth is key: too deep and the stitch can show on the face; too shallow and the hem may not hold securely.
Adjust the depth for the actual material and test a folded sample first. Fabric thickness, texture and thread choice all influence how discreet the finished hem will look.
Controlled, practical sewing
Direct drive for everyday work.
The integrated servo motor drives the machine without an external drive belt. Use the foot control to manage the sewing pace as you guide the hem.
The adjustable depth control lets you fine-tune the needle's bite for different fabrics. Choose a suitable needle and fine blind-hemming thread, then check the finish on both sides before sewing the full piece.
A specialist, not an all-purpose machine
The ZJ101-BD is designed for blind hemming. It does not replace a plainsewer for joining seams or an overlocker for finishing raw edges.
