An industrial walking foot sewing machine for leather goods, upholstery, canvas and coated fabrics. The MS1510 combines positive compound feed with a large-capacity top-loading bobbin and adjustable servo-motor speed.

Keep layers under control.
Compound feed combines needle feed, bottom feed and alternating walking feet to help reduce movement between layers. It is especially useful where folds, reinforcement and changes in thickness make a seam harder to manage.
Upholstery
Cushion covers, furniture panels and related upholstery work where layers can shift during sewing.
Canvas & covers
Suitable canvas bags, boat covers, awnings and outdoor goods, including reinforced seams.
Match the machine to the seam: material density, thread, needle and the full number of layers determine practical sewing capacity. The 16mm foot lift is positioning clearance—not a guarantee that every 16mm stack can be sewn.
The top-loading difference
Practical bobbin access for longer seams.
The large-capacity bobbin holds a useful supply of thread for covers, upholstery panels and other extended runs. Access from above the flat bed makes the bobbin area straightforward to reach when the material is moved clear.
The flat-bed layout supports broad panels, while the walking feet help feed suitable leather, canvas, vinyl and webbing assemblies.
Manual stitch control: set the stitch length to suit the seam and use the reverse lever to secure the beginning and end.
Protection for the hook drive
A safety clutch for unexpected jams.
The MS1510 includes a safety clutch designed to disengage the hook drive under excessive load, helping reduce the risk of damage if thread becomes seriously jammed.
It is an added safeguard, not a reason to force difficult material through the machine.
If the clutch releases
Stop sewing and switch off the machine. Clear the cause safely and follow the correct reset procedure before restarting. If the cause is unclear, have the machine checked before further use.
Set the pace to suit the work.
Set a lower speed limit for detail work, learning the machine or approaching bulky seam intersections.
The energy-saving servo motor does not run continuously while you pause to position the next section.
Choose a suitable stitch for assembly or a more pronounced line of visible topstitching.

Use a lower sewing speed for dense materials and difficult transitions. Always test the actual thread, needle and complete seam stack before production.

Is this suitable for leather and canvas?
Yes, suitable leather goods and canvas assemblies are core applications. Very dense leather, unusually thick stacks or specialist saddlery work may require a different machine. Test the full seam rather than relying on material thickness alone.
Does it sew zigzag?
No. This is a straight-stitch industrial machine, with manual reverse for securing seams.
Which needles and thread should I use?
