Zoje ZJ8B Direct-Drive Cylinder Arm Walking Foot Sewing Machine
Zoje ZJ8B · Direct drive · Compound feed
Control around curves. Space beneath the seam.
The Zoje ZJ8B direct-drive cylinder arm walking foot sewing machine combines access for shaped work with adjustable-speed servo control. Its raised cylinder bed gives you room to guide bags, tubular pieces and curved leatherwork around the needle.
Compound feed helps move layered materials together, while the half-table arrangement keeps the area beneath the arm open for handling partly assembled projects.

Get around bags and tubular pieces
The 65mm cylinder arm supports the seam while leaving space for the rest of the work to hang beneath it. That makes it easier to position bag openings, footwear components and shaped leather pieces than on a conventional flatbed.
The cut-away table gives you additional room to turn and support the project as you sew.
Direct drive, adjustable pace
The servo motor is mounted directly to the machine head, without a conventional external drive belt. Adjustable speed lets you choose a comfortable pace for guiding curves, corners and visible stitching.
The controls are positioned on the machine for convenient access while setting up your work.
Three feeding actions working together
Compound feed coordinates the needle, walking foot and lower feed dog to help carry layers through the seam together. This is useful when joining leather panels, straps or other layered assemblies where consistent feeding matters.
Choose the needle point and thread to suit the material, and test the full seam construction before sewing the finished item.
Made for shaped leatherwork
- Handbags and accessories: openings, curved panels and partly assembled pieces.
- Footwear: suitable leather and sports-shoe components.
- Belts and straps: assembly seams and visible stitching.
- Leather apparel: curved and tubular sections that benefit from cylinder-bed access.
Material density and seam crossings affect sewing capacity. Presser-foot clearance alone is not a maximum sewing-thickness rating.

Common questions
What is the benefit of a cylinder arm?
The open space beneath the cylinder bed helps you guide curved, tubular and partly assembled items around the needle, especially when a flat table would obstruct the work.
Can I adjust the sewing speed?
Yes. The direct-drive servo has adjustable speed, allowing you to set a working pace suited to the project.
Is this a compound-feed machine?
Yes. The needle, walking foot and lower feed dog work together to help control layered materials through the seam.
