ZOJE ZJ246A · Cylinder arm · Compound feed
Better access to curves, bags and tubular work.
The Zoje ZJ246A cylinder arm walking foot sewing machine combines compound feeding with an open cylinder-bed design, giving you more freedom to guide shaped work around the needle.
For bag makers, leatherworkers and repair workshops, the cylinder arm helps you reach seams that are awkward to manage on a flat-bed machine. An adjustable-speed servo motor lets you choose a comfortable working pace.

Work around the shape, not the table
The raised cylindrical bed allows material to pass around and beneath the sewing area. This makes it easier to position tubular pieces, bag openings and curved assemblies without spreading everything across a flat table.
The half-table arrangement leaves the area beneath the arm open, helping you turn and support the project as the seam develops.
Three feeding actions working together
Compound feed combines the movement of the needle, walking foot and lower feed dog. Together, they help control layered materials through the stitch and reduce unwanted movement between layers.
This is particularly useful where a project combines multiple pieces, lining or reinforced sections. Test the complete material combination before sewing the finished item.
A practical choice for leatherwork
- Handbags and accessories: curved panels, openings and shaped assemblies.
- Footwear work: suitable leather and sports-shoe components.
- Belts and straps: assembly and visible stitching.
- Leather apparel: suitable tubular and curved sections.
Choose a needle point and thread appropriate to the material. Dense leather and bulky seam crossings need individual testing; foot clearance alone does not establish sewing capacity.
Control at your own pace
The supplied servo motor offers adjustable sewing speed for detailed work. Slow the machine down when navigating corners or positioning a visible stitch line.
A mechanical stitch-length dial keeps adjustment straightforward. The cylinder arm and cut-away table give you room to concentrate on guiding the work.

Common questions
Why choose a cylinder arm rather than a flat bed?
A cylinder arm leaves space underneath the sewing area, allowing curved or tubular pieces to wrap around the bed. It is useful for projects where a broad flat surface would get in the way.
Is this a compound-feed walking foot machine?
Yes. The needle, walking foot and lower feed dog work together to help move the material through the seam.
Can I adjust the sewing speed?
Yes. The supplied servo motor provides adjustable speed so you can select a pace suited to the job and your experience.
