A small stitch pattern with an important job.
A bartack concentrates stitches over a short area to reinforce a vulnerable point. An electronic bartacker repeats the selected pattern, helping maintain a consistent finish across a run of garments or bags.
For bulky assemblies or load-bearing products, test the actual materials and seam before production. A bartack alone does not establish a load rating.
