SiRUBA 747L · Four-thread industrial overlocker
Join and finish light to medium-weight fabrics with the SiRUBA 747L four-thread industrial overlocker. A practical choice for alteration shops and garment workrooms, it combines two-needle seam construction with a neatly trimmed, overlocked edge.
From T-shirt alterations to shirts, pillowcases and bedding, adjustable speed and differential feed help you set the machine up for the job. Supplied as a complete, built-up table-and-motor package.

Made for everyday garment work
The 747L uses two needles and four threads to form an overlock seam, trimming and finishing the fabric edge as you sew. It suits general light to medium-weight fabric work where a four-thread overlock is the right seam for the garment.
Set a comfortable maximum sewing speed with the speed controller, then control your pace with the foot pedal. Slow down for detailed sections or work faster on straight runs.
The supplied needle positioner provides a consistent stopping position, helping you manage the fabric between sections of a seam.
Adjust the relative feeding action to suit the fabric and help manage unwanted stretching or gathering. Test the setting on a sample of your material first.
Integrated lighting illuminates the sewing area so you can see the fabric edge, needle area and stitch formation more clearly.
Complete workroom package
Your SiRUBA 747L comes assembled with its table, servo motor and thread stand. The setup is mounted on wheels for easier positioning in your workroom.
The supplied tabletop is 0.55m (550mm) deep.
Specifications at a glance
Choose your sewing speed, needles and thread to suit the fabric and seam assembly. Maximum speed is not a recommended setting for every job.
This is a four-thread overlocker for joining and edge finishing. It does not produce the separate chainstitch of a five-thread safety-stitch machine or the parallel-stitched hems of a coverstitch machine. If you are unsure which seam your work needs, ask us before choosing.
Pair the machine with B27 / DC×27 overlocker needles and suitable sewing thread, such as Coats Astra 120, matched to your fabric and application.
