Make it your own
Follow the printed design in your choice of sashiko thread. Work in a single colour to emphasise the linework, or introduce accent shades for a more personal piece.
Once stitched, use the cloth as a feature in a cushion, bag, quilt or framed textile. Allow for your chosen finishing method and any extra backing or fabric you need.
Getting started
- Choose your thread colours and a sashiko needle suitable for the cloth.
- Follow the printed lines with an even running stitch, easing the fabric along the thread as you work.
- Keep the printed cloth dry until stitching is finished. Follow the pack instructions for removing the printed guides and finishing the piece.

This is the printed fabric only. Thread, needles, backing and finishing materials are purchased separately.
Is this already embroidered?
No. The lines shown in the photograph are the design guides for you to stitch.
How much thread will I need?
Use the requirements on the pattern packaging where supplied. Coverage varies with stitch length, design density and your colour choices; thread is not included.
