The Mauser MH2645-170242-36 is an industrial walking-foot sewing machine for medium to heavy materials. Its compound-feed system combines bottom feed, needle feed and alternating presser feet to help keep layered work moving together.
This is the two stitch-length (pitch) dial -36 configuration. Choose it when you want the higher-specification dual-dial setup rather than the single-dial -33.
Designed for upholstery, leather goods, bags, canvas and technical textiles, it pairs a 750W direct-drive motor with automatic seam-finishing functions. Supplied with a sewing table and stand.
Three-part fabric control
The feed dogs, needle and alternating feet advance the material together. This positive feeding action helps reduce layer movement when joining upholstery panels, leather and other substantial materials.
Less handling between seams
Automatic thread trimming, seam backtacking and presser-foot lifting support a more efficient sewing cycle. The integrated control panel keeps the machine's electronic settings within reach.
More lower-thread capacity
An extra-large vertical hook uses a 32mm bobbin, providing generous lower-thread capacity and reducing interruptions for bobbin changes on longer seams.
A practical fit for upholstery and leatherwork

Material thickness alone does not determine suitability. Thread size, material density, seam construction and the selected needle all affect the result. Test the actual material stack before production.
Handle changes in thickness
The alternating-foot stroke is adjustable up to 9mm. The two top-mounted foot-height dials and quick-stroke control let the operator adapt the walking action when crossing seams or thicker sections.
Automatic speed limitation works with foot stroke and feed length. Up to 20mm of presser-foot lift helps with loading and positioning; this is lifting clearance, not a guarantee that the machine will sew 20mm-thick material.

Maximum sewing speed depends on the material and selected settings. This listing is for the standard-arm, single-needle configuration.
Plan your workshop setup
A suitable compressed-air supply is required for the pneumatic functions. Allow for a 6-bar supply when planning the installation. The supplied machine package includes the sewing table and stand; a compressor is not included.
The listed electrical rating is single-phase 230V. Have the supplied machine's electrical connection and site requirements checked before installation.
Single needle. Straight lockstitch.
The MH2645-170242-36 sews one row of straight lockstitch, including visible topstitching when set up with an appropriate needle and thread. It is not a twin-needle, zigzag or cylinder-arm model.
