The Janome Quilt Maker Pro 18 brings frame-mounted quilting into your sewing studio. Move the machine over the supported quilt rather than feeding a bulky quilt through a domestic machine. The included adjustable frame lets you choose a 4ft, 8ft or 12ft arrangement to suit your room and projects.

Included in this package
QMP18 machine, adjustable 4ft/8ft/12ft quilting frame and independent bobbin winder. Pro-Stitcher robotics is not included.
Standard accessory checklist
- Open-toe foot and fitted standard/ruler-work foot.
- Five M-class bobbins in total, bobbin case and two-spool thread stand.
- Two packs of ten needles: size 16 and size 18.
- Laser stylus with clamp and post for pantograph work.
- Oiler, lint brush, screwdriver, Allen tool, power cord and instruction book.
Optional castors, channel lock, ruler base and robotics are not included. Promotional bonus items are not included unless expressly confirmed in your quotation.
Plan your quilting space
Allow space around the frame for loading, advancing the quilt and accessing the rear. Frame length is not the complete working footprint, and the 18-inch arm measurement is not the usable quilting depth. Share your room dimensions and largest planned quilt size so we can help confirm a suitable layout.
Want computer-guided quilting?
Janome Pro-Stitcher for QMP18 is a separate upgrade. Stitch regulation controls stitch consistency as you guide the machine; Pro-Stitcher adds computer-guided movement. They are not the same function.

Choose QMP18 for an 18-inch setup with rear controls already included. QMP20 adds arm space, a thread-break sensor and its newer front-control layout. Decide by your quilting method and room—not speed alone.
Arm length is not the usable quilting depth. Frame settings describe nominal length, not the full working footprint.
Before you choose your setup
How much room do I need?
Nominal frame lengths are approximately 1.22m, 2.44m and 3.66m for the 4ft, 8ft and 12ft settings. These are not room-size recommendations: allow extra depth and clearance to stand, load the quilt and reach the rear. Send room dimensions, doorways and any stairs or access restrictions for a layout check before ordering.
Does it quilt automatically?
Not in the machine-and-frame package. You guide the machine; stitch regulation responds to your movement. Computer-guided quilting requires the separately purchased robotics system matched to the exact model.
Can I use quilting rulers?
Use suitable longarm quilting rulers with the correct ruler foot and a model-specific ruler base. A ruler foot alone does not provide the supporting surface needed for ruler work. The optional ruler base is not included in this package.
What should my quotation cover?
Ask for the selected frame layout, confirmed availability, delivery, installation scope and costs, and any optional equipment to be itemised. Confirm training arrangements, applicable New Zealand warranty terms and the servicing pathway before proceeding; these are not additional promises included in the displayed price.
