Janome Overedge Foot C
Finish raw edges neatly with a guided overcasting stitch. The foot supports the thread at the fabric edge to help prevent curling on medium to heavyweight woven fabrics.

DC3050 fitting and use
The DC3050 manual specifies optional Overedge Foot C for stitch 10 (zigzag) and stitch 12 (overcasting).
Set stitch width to 5.0mm or wider. A narrower setting can cause the needle to strike the wires on the foot. Use the stitch settings in your machine manual.
Fitting and use
- Switch off the machine before fitting the foot.
- Guide the fabric edge against the foot’s guide without pulling or stretching it.
- Turn the handwheel slowly through a complete stitch to check needle clearance before sewing.
- For other models, follow the manual’s specified stitch and needle settings for Foot C.

- Match the fitting. Check the exact model list above rather than choosing only by stitch width.
- Check the exact part. Match 822801001 and confirm your manual specifies Overedge Foot C.
