The larger bobbin capacity helps reduce bobbin changes during extended sewing runs. Select thread and needles to suit your material and seam.
More room for the bigger jobs.
When a standard walking foot machine leaves you wrestling with bulky panels, the Eagle GC20606-1-L18 gives you an extended sewing bed and more room beneath the arm. Built for heavy-material work, it combines compound feed, a large rotary hook and adjustable servo-motor speed.
- Long-arm workspace for manoeuvring larger covers, panels and outdoor goods.
- Compound feed helps keep layered materials moving together.
- Large-capacity bobbin for fewer interruptions on longer seams.
- Servo speed control to suit the material and the job.
Supplied built up with its industrial table, motor, thread stand and accessories. Enquire to order.

Handle the panel, not just the seam.
Boat covers, awnings and upholstery panels can be awkward to turn and reposition on a conventional machine. The extended arm provides more working room to the right of the needle, helping you manage material while following the seam.
The long, flat bed supports the work as you position folds, reinforcement and larger sections. It is a practical step up when workspace—not simply stitch length—is the limitation.

Feed the layers together.
Compound feed combines needle feed, bottom feed and alternating walking feet to help reduce shifting between layers. That control is useful when sewing folds, webbing reinforcements and changes in material thickness.
Set a suitable maximum speed for the work. Take a controlled approach to corners, thick junctions and visible topstitching.
An oil-pump system circulates lubricant during operation. Keep oil levels and routine maintenance in line with the machine's operating instructions.

Long seams. Clear stitch definition.
A stitch length of up to 9mm gives you scope for construction seams and visible decorative stitching on suitable heavier materials. The sample shown is photographed with this machine.
Match stitch length, thread, needle point and tension to the actual job. A test seam through the full material stack is the best way to check feeding, stitch formation and finish.

Useful questions, answered.
Why choose a long arm instead of a standard walking foot?
The main advantage is working space. The extended arm makes larger panels easier to position to the right of the needle. It does not automatically make a machine suitable for a thicker or tougher material.
Will it sew my canvas, leather or coated fabric?
It is intended for suitable heavier materials, but the complete seam matters: material type, number of layers, reinforcement and thread choice. Provide those details with your enquiry so suitability can be assessed.
Are the table and motor included?
Yes. The machine comes built up with its industrial table, servo motor, thread stand and the accessories listed above.
Can it be delivered outside Auckland?
Yes. Nationwide New Zealand freight can be arranged. Include your delivery location when enquiring for availability and freight details.
