A small tip for a neater finish
Keep one pair specifically for fabric. Use separate scissors for tracing paper, packaging and card, and remove pins from the cutting path.
Choose the right tool: Use this larger pair for cutting fabric, with small embroidery scissors alongside for thread ends.
Keep your scissors at their best
Wipe the blades clean after use and store them dry, with the blades closed. Reserve them for sewing materials; use separate tools for paper, wire, pins and heavy-duty cutting. Keep sharp points out of reach of children.

Are these the same size as the small Harlequin scissors?
No. These are the full-size 8-inch dressmaking scissors. The 4-inch Classic and Large Bow styles are smaller companions for thread trimming and detailed needlework.
