- Use the correct needle system with an eye large enough for clean thread passage.

Is V207 the same as Ticket 12 and Tex 240?
This product is sold as V207 / Ticket 12. In the current Coats Dabond technical sheet, Ticket 12 is specified as Tex 240. Because naming systems can differ, use the verified Coats ticket and Tex values when matching a technical specification.
Can I use V207 in a domestic sewing machine?
No ordinary domestic machine should be assumed suitable. V207 is a very heavy thread and requires a machine, needle system, hook, bobbin, tension range and thread path designed to accommodate it.
What needle should I use?
Coats lists metric 160 to 200 as an indicative range for Ticket 12 / Tex 240. Confirm the exact needle system and size with the machine specification and the requirements of the material and seam.
When should I choose V207 instead of V138?
Choose V207 only when the approved seam specification and the machine call for the heavier Ticket 12 / Tex 240 thread. V138 is smaller at Ticket 18 / Tex 150 and may be easier to accommodate, but it is not a substitute when a technical specification requires another size.
Is this Dabond Outdoor or anti-wick thread?
