Before you start
- Gently slide the needle eye over the fine wire resting against the black backing plate.
- Guide the thread through both the wire loop and the hole in the black plate, leaving a short tail.
- Carefully pull the needle off the wire to draw the thread through its eye.
Fine threading wires need gentle handling. Do not force a thick thread through a small eye, and protect the threader from bending when it is stored.
