The size printed in millimetres is the needle diameter. The [M], [S] or [L] code identifies the threaded connection. Match both the cable join and a suitable cable length; different join codes do not screw directly together.
Choose the cable length
For MINI 8cm tips, choose a compatible 15cm cable or longer. ChiaoGoo reserves its 13cm MINI cable for 5cm tips. For Small and Large joins, choose a short cable specified for 8cm tips.
Finished circular length includes both needle tips and the cable. For replacement cables, see MINI [M], Small [S] or Large [L].

Questions before you choose
Will these fit cables from other brands?
They are designed for the ChiaoGoo system. Do not assume that a KnitPro, Prym or another brand’s cable has the same thread.
Can I use these for flat knitting?
Yes. Assemble a suitable circular and work back and forth instead of joining in the round.
How do I stop the join loosening?
Use the appropriate tightening key in the cable-end hole to secure the join, following ChiaoGoo’s instructions. Check the connection periodically without forcing the threads.
