Smooth stitch movement
A nylon coating carries stitches between the tips. Keep the threaded joins clean and securely tightened.
More room for your project
Use a longer cable for wide flat rows, sweater bodies or a suitable magic-loop setup; choose by your stitch count and preferred method.
Match the Large [L] connection
This range fits ChiaoGoo Large [L] interchangeable tips, including matching TWIST steel, SPIN bamboo, QUADS and FORTÉ tips. Standard large-join tips generally cover 5.50–10.00mm; the connection marked on the component is the deciding guide.
[L] identifies the screw-thread size, not the cable length. Large cables do not connect directly to Small [S] or MINI [M] tips. Other needle brands use different connections.
Choose your cable length
The selected measurement is the cable only. Both needle tips add to the finished circular length. The table gives nominal lengths with a pair of 13cm / 5-inch tips, except where stated.

Published metric and inch measurements are nominal. With 10cm tips, the finished circular is approximately 6cm shorter than with 13cm tips. Very small rounds may need shorter tips or a different knitting method.
Set up a secure join
- Confirm that the tip and cable both have the matching connection size.
- Thread them together by hand, keeping the threads straight.
- Use a ChiaoGoo tightening key through the connector hole to secure the join. Do not force it or use pliers.
Store the cable loosely coiled. Avoid sharply folding or pinching it: a cable that resists retained coils can still be damaged by a hard kink.

One ChiaoGoo SWIV360 silver cable in your chosen length, with Large [L] connectors. Needle tips, end stoppers and cable connectors are separate items.
Questions before you choose
Is this a complete circular needle?
No. Attach a compatible pair of interchangeable tips. The advertised length is the cable itself.
Does this swivel?
Yes. SWIV360 has swivel movement built into its cable joins; you do not need a separate swivel adapter.
Can I leave stitches on the cable?
Yes. Remove the tips and attach end stoppers in the same connection size. End stoppers are sold separately.
Which connection should I buy?
Check the [L] marking on your tips. Cable length and needle diameter alone do not identify the connection reliably, especially across different ChiaoGoo tip ranges.
