Turn printed artwork into accurately cut projects with Brother’s Print to Cut function for CanvasWorkspace.

Print to Cut lets you add registration marks to artwork created or imported into CanvasWorkspace. Once printed, your ScanNCut DX scans these marks, detects the position of the artwork and automatically aligns the cutting lines with the printed image.

It’s ideal for producing custom stickers, labels, card toppers, printed decorations, packaging elements and multiple copies of the same design. You can cut around an entire image or select a specific section to cut.

How it works:

1. Create or import your artwork into CanvasWorkspace.
2. Add registration marks and create the cutting lines.
3. Export the artwork as a PDF and print it at actual size.
4. Transfer the corresponding FCM cutting data to your ScanNCut DX.
5. Load the printed material onto a suitable cutting mat.
6. The machine scans the registration marks, aligns the cut and cuts around the artwork.

Important information:

This product activates a software function and does not include a blade, cutting mat, printer or ScanNCut machine.

The function is supported by the Windows and Mac desktop versions of CanvasWorkspace. It is not supported by CanvasWorkspace for Web.

The activation code is valid for one CanvasWorkspace login ID and cannot be activated again under another account. Ensure that you are signed in with the correct account before redeeming the code.

For reliable registration-mark detection, print the exported PDF at its actual size on a light, plain material. Dark or heavily patterned material may prevent the machine from recognising the marks.
