Press the cutter button after completing a seam to trim both the upper and bobbin threads.
This reduces manual trimming and helps speed up repetitive sewing, patchwork, garment construction and decorative work.
The machine remains compatible with ordinary manual thread trimming whenever longer thread tails are required.
Tie-off button and programmable securing
Press the tie-off button to secure the selected stitch and stop the machine automatically.
Tie-off can also be programmed into suitable stitch sequences so the machine completes securing stitches before stopping.

Two built-in lettering fonts
Create names, labels, initials, short phrases and monograms without separate embroidery software.
Lettering can be combined into sequences of up to 40 characters and stitched at approximately 7mm high.
Built-in lettering is intended for decorative sewn text. It is not the same as filled embroidery created by a dedicated embroidery machine.
Stitch sequencing, mirror image and elongation
Combine selected stitches and lettering into stored sequences of up to 40 characters.
Mirror compatible stitches side-to-side or top-to-bottom to create symmetrical borders and paired motifs.
Elongation extends selected decorative patterns without simply widening the stitch, providing additional control over the finished design.

Drop feed for free-motion sewing
Lower the feed dogs when you want to move the project manually beneath the needle.

Convertible free-arm sewing
Slide off the front accessory compartment to expose the narrow free arm.
