Check the cutter model, blade mount and pack quantity
Your cutter determines the replacement diameter. Check its exact model, the blade’s mounting design and the manufacturer’s compatibility information, including the selected variant. Do not fit a larger blade to a smaller handle. Compare the number of blades supplied: a pack quantity is separate from blade diameter and model number.
Standard or pinking blade, and when to replace it
Standard rotary blades make a straight cutting line; pinking blades make a zigzag edge. The OLFA PIB45 pinking blade is specified for the RTY-2/DX cutter; do not assume it fits every 45mm handle. Use a suitable cutting mat. Snagging or skipped fibres may indicate wear, damage or an unsuitable setup. Check the mat and fabric layers, then follow the cutter instructions when replacing a blunt or damaged blade.
