Choosing an Oliso iron and pressing surface
Full-size or compact? TG1600 ProPlus uses Oliso’s touch-operated auto-lift system. M3Pro is the compact project and travel iron for smaller pressing tasks. They are different iron families: colour-specific listings are colour choices, not additional machine models, and features should be checked on the selected listing.
Plan the setup: Compare the iron’s dimensions, water tank, cord and controls for your work area. M3Pro includes its own Solemate silicone rest. For travel, check the unit’s voltage setting, rating and required plug arrangement before use; a dual-voltage specification does not mean every socket accepts the same plug.
The MultiMat is a pressing surface: The wool mat measures 35.6 × 35.6cm and is 13mm thick. Each mat is sold separately with four ProPress Links for joining compatible mats. Place it on a suitable heat- and moisture-resistant surface because heat and steam can pass through wool.
A wool mat is not an iron rest: Prolonged heat can scorch wool, including beneath an auto-lift iron in its raised position. Use an appropriate silicone rest when parking a hot iron and follow the iron and mat instructions. Match heat and steam to the fabric or fusible material and test first.
