Clean edges. Comfortable garment seams.

Bring a professional finish to everyday garment work with this JUKI MO-6814AS four-thread industrial overlocker. Two needles and four threads join and neaten fabric in one pass, making it a practical choice for clothing production, alterations and light-to-medium-weight sewing.

Direct-drive servo control, adjustable sewing speed and a needle positioner help you work at a pace that suits the job—from careful handling around a curve to longer, straight seams.

Built around the way you sew

Control where it matters.

Responsive servo drive

The direct-drive servo motor gives you adjustable speed without a constantly running clutch motor. Choose a manageable pace for detailed work, then increase it when the fabric and operation allow.

Needle positioning

The needle positioner helps keep stopping consistent between sewing runs—a useful everyday feature when handling garment pieces and moving from one seam to the next.

More even fabric feeding

Differential feed lets you adjust how the fabric travels beneath the foot. It helps control unwanted stretching or gathering so you can tune the finish to the material.

A neat, soft seam

The four-thread stitch wraps the trimmed edge while the two needle threads form the seam. Balance the tension and feed on a fabric sample for a tidy finish that feels comfortable in clothing.

Where it fits

For garments, alterations and everyday finishing.

A useful addition to dressmaking studios, alteration businesses and garment workrooms handling T-shirts, shirts, everyday clothing, pillowcases and bedding. Its light-to-medium-weight setup is intended for apparel fabrics rather than heavy upholstery materials, leather or heavy canvas.

Joining knit garments

Use the four-thread seam for suitable jersey and knit garment construction, adjusting the differential feed and tension to suit the fabric.

Neatening woven edges

Trim and overlock raw edges for a clean internal finish. Test the stitch on your fabric and select the right seam construction for the garment.

Choosing between four and five threads?

This machine produces a four-thread overlock seam. It is not a five-thread safety-stitch machine with a separate chainstitch seam. If your production work calls for that construction, compare our industrial overlocker range or ask us about your fabric and application.
