Eagle Special EA-341 · cylinder-arm walking foot

Make room for the shape of your work.

The Eagle Special EA-341 cylinder-arm walking foot sewing machine brings compound-feed control to leather bags, canvas goods and other shaped assemblies. Its raised cylinder bed lets the material sit around the arm, helping you reach seams that are awkward on a flat-bed machine.

A 750W SmartServo motor provides adjustable speed, while reverse feed, a large-capacity hook and accessible drop-in bobbin support everyday workshop sewing.

The EA-341’s raised cylinder bed leaves room beneath the sewing area for shaped and layered work.

More control around bags, curves and layers.

Access beyond a flat bed

The cylinder arm gives you space to manoeuvre tubular sections, bag bodies and formed components around the needle. It is useful when part of the work needs to hang below the sewing surface rather than lie flat across a table.

For leather goods, straps and upholstery components, that access can make positioning the next seam considerably easier.

Feed the assembly together

Alternating walking feet, needle feed and bottom feed work together to advance the material. This compound-feed action helps control multiple layers of suitable leather, canvas, vinyl and heavy textiles.

Adjust the sewing speed to suit the seam, slowing down for curves, corners and folded joins.

A practical workshop setup.

The reinforced U-style table leaves working space around the arm, with the SmartServo control within reach. The machine is supplied with its table, motor and listed accessories.

  • Reverse feed for reinforcing seam ends.
  • Large-capacity rotary hook and drop-in bobbin access for routine bobbin changes.
  • Safety clutch designed to help protect the hook mechanism during a jam.
  • Optional presser feet, including piping and zipper feet, for job-specific setups.

Optional feet are separate accessories. Stop and isolate the machine before clearing a jam or working around the needle and hook.

Common questions.

Why choose a cylinder arm for bag making?

It allows the work to wrap around the bed, improving access to tubular sections and shaped bag components. The open space beneath the arm is useful where a flat table would obstruct the work.

Can it sew leather as well as canvas?

Yes, suitable leather, canvas, vinyl and heavy layered textiles are key applications. Choose the correct needle point, thread and settings, and test your actual material before production.

Does the 16mm foot clearance mean it sews 16mm thick material?

No. That figure describes clearance under the raised foot. The listed sewing capacity is up to 11mm and remains dependent on the material, seam construction and setup.

Are the table and motor included?

Yes. The listed package includes the U-style industrial table, 750W SmartServo motor and accessories described above.
