Use a suitable needle, thread and sewing speed for your fabric and number of layers. Maximum speed is a machine rating, not a recommended setting for every task.
Choose it for straight-stitch work.
Ideal applications include suitable shirt and trouser seams, alterations, pillowcases and bed linen. The A6000 makes a straight lockstitch; it does not replace an overlocker or coverstitch machine for stretch seams and edge finishing. For heavy leather or bulky upholstery, ask us about a suitable walking-foot machine.
