Using your needles
Start with a length you can hold comfortably. Test it with your chosen thread and quilt sandwich before settling into the project. Use a thimble if required by your technique, and change the needle if it becomes bent or damaged.

Are larger size numbers longer?
No. In this assortment, size 12 is the shortest at 23mm; size 8 is 29mm long.

No. Betweens are short hand-quilting needles. Choose embroidery needles for the eye and thread capacity suited to embroidery.
