Staedtler’s non-permanent Lumocolor pencil makes opaque, water-soluble dry marks on suitable workshop and craft surfaces. It is an alternative to liquid ink for temporary references on materials such as smooth plastic, glass or metal.
Non-permanent is a surface-dependent claim
The colour can be wiped from many smooth surfaces, but porous materials can retain a mark. Paper, wood, fabric and leather therefore need their own tests rather than assuming the pencil behaves identically everywhere. For removable garment construction lines, a dedicated fabric marker is usually the more relevant tool to compare.
