It does not replace a conventional sewing machine and cannot sew ordinary lockstitches, standard straight stitching, zigzags, buttonholes or zip applications in the same way.
It is not a coverstitch machine and does not create parallel twin-needle cover hems like those commonly seen on T-shirt sleeves and lower hems.
The machine uses conventional colour-coded threading. It does not have air threading or automatic tension.
