The SR-5800 uses a sealed pressure vessel to produce pressurised steam. The ES-94A has no boiler; an elevated bottle gravity-feeds water directly to its heated iron.

How long does it take to heat?

The manufacturer’s SR-5800 manual gives approximately 10–20 minutes, depending on how much water is in the vessel and the starting conditions. Use the pressure gauge and indicators rather than time alone.

How much pressure does it produce?

The NZ listing publishes 0.25–0.4MPa, equivalent to approximately 2.5–4 bar. Manufacturer instructions reference normal readiness around 3.5 bar.

Can I refill it while it is still hot?

Can it be used for dry ironing?
