Direct stitch selection
Press the stitch icon on the front panel rather than searching through menus or turning a mechanical pattern dial.
Automatic stitch settings
The machine automatically sets a recommended stitch length and width when a stitch is selected. Both settings can then be adjusted.
Needle up/down
Choose whether the needle stops raised or in the fabric—particularly useful for pivoting, appliqué and controlled corner sewing.
Start/stop sewing
Sew using the machine’s start/stop button instead of the foot control when preferred, including for longer seams and decorative stitching.
Automatic tie-off
Press the tie-off button and the machine secures the stitching before stopping, helping produce a tidy and consistent seam finish.
