How to Use Odif LB5
- Switch the machine off, unplug it and allow it to cool.
- Check the machine manual and identify the approved lubrication points.
- Remove lint, thread and dust from the area before adding oil.
- Shake the LB5 aerosol thoroughly.
- For an accessible area, spray a small amount from approximately 5cm away.
- For a confined oiling point, attach the supplied extension tube for a more precise application.
- Apply only the amount recommended by your machine manufacturer.
- Wipe away any excess oil with a clean, lint-free cloth.
- After reassembling the machine, test sew on scrap fabric before returning to your project.
Where Not to Apply It
- Do not spray generally into the machine or through its ventilation openings.
- Do not apply to motors, circuit boards, electrical connections or display components.
- Keep away from belts, tension discs and other areas where oil is not specified.
- Do not apply directly to fabric or thread.
- Do not substitute LB5 for grease or another specialist lubricant specified by the manufacturer.
