A satisfying small project
Make a continuous knitted braid, then use it in decorative shapes, craft embellishments or other cord-based projects. Yarn is sold separately.
Hook included
Use the curved hook to lift the lower loop over the working yarn on each peg. Keep your tension relaxed enough for the loops to move.
Choose your peg count
Direct Sewing offers 4-, 6- and 8-peg versions. More pegs generally produce a fuller cord with the same yarn; the finished size also depends on yarn thickness and tension.

A useful tip before you begin
Begin with a short sample and a smooth yarn that lets you see the loops clearly. Keep a gentle pull on the emerging cord, repeat the same order around the pegs and avoid tightening the loops too much.
Use & care
Store the tool dry and keep the hook with it. Take care around the metal pegs and hook, and supervise younger makers.
