You receive five 15cm double pointed needles, each measuring 3.25mm in diameter. The pack does not contain five different sizes.
Many patterns arrange stitches across three or four holding needles and use the remaining needle to knit. A five-needle pack supports either common arrangement.

Symfonie 2 is KnitPro's new generation of its well-known laminated birchwood range. The DPNs retain the warm wood feel and controlled yarn movement many knitters choose wood for, while introducing a new seven-colour chevron design and precision size markings.
Green, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple and blue layers create the distinctive Symfonie 2 rainbow pattern.
The needle diameter is clearly marked to help identify the pack between projects.
The birchwood is layered for strength and finished to support smooth stitch movement with more surface grip than highly polished metal.
DPNs are pointed at both ends so stitches can be worked continuously around a small circumference. The live stitches are shared across several needles, while another needle works the next section.
Because there is no cable or fixed circular length to match, DPNs adapt naturally as a sock toe narrows, a sleeve begins at the cuff or a hat crown decreases.
Patterns commonly distribute stitches across three or four needles. The fourth or fifth needle then works the stitches. Follow the pattern's preferred setup.

Five separate needles, no cable and no fixed minimum circumference. Especially adaptable through toes, thumbs and crown decreases.
Uses one long flexible circular needle. It keeps all stitches on one tool but requires the cable loops to be repositioned as you work.
Uses one compact fixed circular. It can be quick for an even tube, but its circumference must suit the project and decreases may still need another method.
Cast on the pattern's stitch count, then distribute the stitches evenly across three or four needles.
Lay the needles down and confirm the cast-on edge is not twisted before joining to work in the round.
Work across one holding needle at a time. The emptied needle becomes the working needle for the next section.
Snug the first stitches at each change and occasionally shift the change points if visible ladders begin to form.
Wipe with a soft dry cloth. Do not soak wooden needles or use harsh household cleaners.
Return the complete pack to a needle case or sleeve so the points and size marking are protected.
Do not continue with a needle that has become cracked, deeply roughened or damaged at a point.
