Small markers that make a pattern easier to follow

Choose a ring that slides freely over your needle. These are closed rings, not the 30-pack split-ring markers (10898) or locking markers (10899).
How to use a closed-ring stitch marker
- Place: slide the marker onto the needle at the position specified by your pattern, between two stitches.
- Work: knit or purl up to the marker, then slip it from one needle to the other without working it as a stitch.
- Repeat or remove: keep it in position for later rows or rounds, or take it off when you next reach it and no longer need the reference.
Can I clip these into an existing stitch?
No. These rings do not open. Use a split-ring or locking marker when you need to attach a marker directly to knitted fabric, mark progress after the fact or remove it without reaching the needle tip.
Are they the right markers for crochet?
For marking individual crochet stitches or round beginnings, choose an opening split-ring or locking style. A closed ring can become trapped if worked into the fabric; this pack is intended for on-needle marking in knitting.
Will all three sizes fit my knitting needles?
Select the ring size that moves comfortably over your needle. The pack has small, medium and large rings, but it is not a guarantee of compatibility with every needle size. Do not force a ring over a needle or stretch it open.
