Its heavy-duty powder-coated metal flat-bed provides a smooth, uninterrupted sewing surface with 255mm of space to the right of the needle. A rigid die-cast aluminium internal frame and vibration-suppression design help the machine remain stable and refined at higher sewing speeds.

Janome’s AcuFeed Flex system works with the machine’s lower feed dogs to guide the upper and lower fabric layers together.
This helps reduce shifting when quilting, matching checks or stripes, sewing long seams and working with layered or difficult fabrics.

The narrow Professional Grade HP foot is inspired by industrial straight-stitch feet and provides excellent visibility around the needle and fabric edge.
Use it with the included HP needle plate for accurate quilt piecing, narrow seam allowances, curved sewing and controlled topstitching.
The HP plate has a small single needle opening that supports the fabric closely around the needle for refined straight-stitch results.

The Memory Craft 6700P is a dedicated flat-bed machine and does not have a removable free arm.
It does not have automatic pivoting, electronic presser-foot lift, automatic tension, upper-thread sensing or bobbin-thread sensing.
It is a professional domestic sewing and quilting machine rather than a compound-feed industrial walking-foot machine. For consistently sewing extremely thick, dense or difficult materials, speak with our team so we can recommend the correct machine.
The MC6700P does not perform machine embroidery and is not compatible with Janome’s A.S.R. stitch regulator.

Does the MC6700P perform embroidery?
