Time-saving thread finishing
Automatic upper and bobbin thread cutting
Press the cutter button and the machine trims the upper and bobbin threads together.
The upper thread is drawn towards the underside of the project for a cleaner finish.
The cutter can also be programmed to operate after compatible stitches have been locked off, reducing repetitive thread trimming during patchwork and construction sewing.

Six levels of presser-foot pressure
Presser-foot pressure determines how firmly the fabric is held against the feed dogs.
The DC6050 provides six levels of adjustment, giving the operator greater control than machines with a fixed pressure setting.
Sheer fabric
Reduce pressure to help prevent marking, puckering and fabric distortion.
Stretch knits
Coordinate lower pressure with the correct stretch stitch and needle.
Everyday woven fabric

Seven-piece Superior Plus feed system
Seven feed-dog sections maintain broad contact with the underside of the project.

The feed-dog system works together with the adjustable foot pressure to help reduce unwanted slipping, shifting and puckering.

Place the button into the rear of Automatic Buttonhole Foot R and the machine uses it as a guide for the required buttonhole length.

The DC6050 is a domestic sewing and quilting machine. It is not an overlocker, embroidery machine or industrial sewing machine.
It uses manual upper-thread tension and manual presser-foot lifting.
It does not include automatic thread tension, an electronic presser-foot lift, automatic pivoting, a knee lifter, thread sensors, lettering fonts or USB connectivity.
It does not include an even-feed foot or free-motion quilting foot as standard.
