More consistent stitches while you move the quilt
During traditional free-motion quilting, stitch length depends on how quickly you move the fabric in relation to the machine’s sewing speed. The A.S.R. system senses fabric movement and regulates the machine to help maintain a more consistent stitch length.
Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted to suit your movement and experience. Four purpose-designed A.S.R. feet are included for general free motion, enhanced visibility, echo quilting and ruler-guided work.

Important information before purchasing
The Continental M17 is a large, premium flat-bed combination machine. It does not have a removable free arm.
With the embroidery unit attached, the machine measures approximately 1112mm long x 354mm high x 712mm deep and weighs approximately 30.3kg. A stable, suitably sized sewing table and adequate surrounding space are essential.
The optional extra-wide extension table is not part of the standard New Zealand and Australian accessory package.
