Plan borders with straight lines and flowing curves
The Handi Quilter Border Ruler Pack combines four guides for building ruler-quilted borders. It offers a choice of straight, wave and curved edges, so you can explore different looks around your patchwork instead of repeating just one shape.
Four rulers included
- Straight Edge ruler, 3 × 12 inches
- Smooth Wave ruler
- Flipped Curve ruler
- Tidal Wave ruler
Make the border part of the design
Use straight-line quilting to frame a busy centre, a wave to introduce movement, or curved repeats to soften geometric patchwork. Try your planned spacing and corner transitions on a practice sandwich before quilting the full border.
Required setup
Use a compatible longarm ruler foot and machine-specific ruler base, sold separately. These acrylic templates guide the quilting foot; they are not rotary-cutting rulers. Finished stitch shapes depend on the foot offset and how the template is positioned.
